HfT Stuttgart visits Ambright
We had a group of 14 students from the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences from the interior design department visit us. While studies are mostly theoretical, our focus was on practice. Light as an essential element in the cosmos of interior design was the central subject of our joint workshop "Luminaire Design". In five groups, the students designed concepts for luminaires that took into account aspects of spatiality, aesthetics, lighting technology and material efficiency. Result? Impressive! The task was solved with enormous creativity as well as technical competence. And, quite incidentally, impressive proof was provided of the enormous potential that light printing offers for design possibilities in architecture. Thus, the workshop was a complete success for both sides, because we also took away a lot from the students' perspectives and questions. Level of inspiration: stratospheric! In this respect, a warm recommendation for all companies to look around and see which university in the region they can connect with. We at Ambright have maintained a close relationship with the Bavarian School of Business (HDBW) for many years, and a number of graduates from the HDBW work for us. Thanks to the great team from Stuttgart and an extra thanks to Sabine Wiesend, lecturer in the field of "Architecture and Design" at the HFT, who organized the workshop with us.
